Default Paper for stamping

What paper does everyone use for their stamping? I have been told that Gina K Pure Luxury is a good one but can't seem to find it anywhere. I colour my stamps with Prismacolour pencils, blending with OMS or baby oil.

Hi there!

I use Stampin' Ups Whisper White Cardstock. It's a great stamp base and you get a clean, crisp image. I also use watercolour paper/card (any brand) for when I colour my stamps in using H2O's, inks, watercolours etc, or when I want that textured feel and not so crisp flat white.

Hope this helps.

Like the PP said, the SU Whisper White cardstock is the best for stamping bold/coloured images onto.... It's ultra smooth to give a crisp image...
But when I'm stamping outlined stamps that need to be coloured I use the Stampin' Up! Watercolour paper which then allows you to blend easily and it's also got a lovely texture.

erm I use whatever I need to from bazzil (if I dont want the texture I use the back) to the inserts from my scrapbooking albums I dont have a local stamping up chick I know of or the $$$ for the fancier things and my stamping turns out great

also try zig writers for colouring your stamps you colour the bits you want coloured then blow accross the top of the stamp and then stamp your image

a stamping matt is an essential tool however as this helps you get a much clearer image no matter what you are stamping on

I bought some water colour paper from an art shop and that does seem to be quite good. The colours of my Prismacolours are more vibrant than they are with the SU whisper white. Perhaps I will order some of the SU water colour paper and give it a try.

Default Paper for stamping

I am looking for links and pics of cards that you can make using 1 piece of printed or stamped scrapbook paper. I would like to make some for family for Christmas. Anyone seen any cute or fun ones? TIA
