TIPS AND TECHNIQUES FOR SCRAPABET
Scrapbooking Memories free scrapabets are ideal for either traditional or digital scrapbooking. Here are some tips to help you along the way:
- Create a new folder on your computer to hold your downloaded scrapabets. This will make it easier for you to keep them organised so you can use them over and over again.
- Using your photo editing software such as Photoshop, open your preferred scrapabet file making sure the resolution is set at 300. Select the rectangle marquee tool and drag it over the letter you wish to use. Your chosen letter will now be highlighted by a square of moving dashes – also called marching ants. Select copy, open a new file and paste your letter. It is now ready for printing.
- Print your free scrapabet on photo paper, preferably matte as other papers and cardstock may bleed.
- Experiment with your scrapabets. Mix and match them with other mediums such as chipboard for a unique look on your layouts.
- If you would like to use the free paper from Scrapbooking Memories on your digital layout simply scan it at 300dpi and save it along with your scrapabet for future use.
